Fl#gged

I'm puzzled, to say the least, and honoured? There is a first time for everything!

Last night I put together a hodge-podge sloppy kind of a post, just the links to all the chapters of the Birching Bordello story. And scheduled it for 7 am, like a good girl that I usually am. Mind you, all the stories were previously posted, all the tags (yes, I put lots of tags) been used before. Even the picture to go with it was my own photo, the same I used for the first instalment.

Now, exactly at 7 am I received an email from Blogger that the post was flagged and unpublished for the guidelines violation. At least it was not a person, but an automated system, right?

But why? Was it the combination of all the spanking tags, or the words p*nishment and sp*nking and cry*ng and b*lt and D*m on the same page? But, come on, I posted worse..

My blog is behind the mature content warning as it is, right??

I did try to move to wordpress recently, it was a painful (not in a good sense) and fruitless attempt. But I'm listening...

Any advise much appreciated!!

PSA: Devlin O'Neill's old blog

HUGE THANKS to Hermione for unearthing the snapshot of Devlin O'Neill's old blog: CLICK HERE on Way Back Machine.

Many pictures were not preserved by the captures, but the posts are there. I truly hope that someone did manage to make a backup of the old site before it went down, and really wonder if it can be hosted again.

Every time I see Devlin's name on someone's blogroll, I try it and, of course, that French website comes up. Silly me! I heard that the domain was not renewed or sold, not sure. But wouldn't it be great in Devlin's bright memory, In Memoriam, to resurrect the latest incarnation of his blog? Even if it would be a different website, I'm sure all the major blogs will gladly put it on their blog rolls or archive links.

So many miss Devlin or, like me, just heard of him, because were late to the party. I've never seen the actual blog, today was the first time. And boy, did I cry real tears...

As far as the blogs go, I'm nobody. My blog gets almost no traffic. But if only... this idea will get picked up by someone who knew him and make it happen.

Just my two virtual cents, but if a contribution of real dollars and cents will be needed, such a GoFundMe campaign won't take long.

Too many blogs disappeared in the last year. Let's bring back at least one.

How it works

I've been in a bit of a hiatus, since I finished the A to Z challenge, it sucked too much energy out of me. Probably I should stop apologizing for the lack of proper posts.

So, Molly's Kiss, or more specifically, her Kink of the Week is hosting a theme right now, Pigtails, that I can relate to. I thought of writing something new for it, but again, the creative juices were running low. And then I recalled one of my old spanking stories that was fine in my opinion, but didn't get enough love from you, my lovelies. I thought I would resurrect it with some editing.

Low and behold, that old story already had two pigtails rolled into mini buns on top of Izzie's head, that made her look like a meerkat. That's a start! Then I thought I will add some proper hair pulling, which I also like as a kink. Maybe Nick will unroll the buns back into pigtails or order Izzie to do it. But I needed some reason, something.

So, here I am, on my walk. By the way, I'm writing this post from the park bench. And I see a runner, with a huge high ponytail, gorgeous hair, swaying with every step, like a horse's tail. And it hit me, that's it, that's what was missing:

"I want to see them sway, when I spank you, the pigtails," Nick says.

A to Z - The Best of

The A to Z Reflections day was yesterday, but I thought I would allow myself a day off. Actually "off" time started on Sunday night, no longer under the pressure to post for the next letter, I binged on this new show, The Diplomat, and then again last night. Highly recommend, kind of a mix of Veep and Newsroom, with a sprinkle of Downton Abbey. Fast paced, lots of people with lovely English accents, not enough smut for my taste, but, hey, it was my time off! Now, back to A to Z.

How I got to do A to Z challenge?

As many things in my life by a happy accident. Mrs Fever mentioned that she is about to start it, it piqued my interest. So I clicked, I googled around, and, gasp, I signed up. It seems like a good challenge, to post every day. Silly me! Read my pre-challenge post  A to Z. That was on March 20.

What actually happened?

Somewhere around letter E, E is for Enter, I realized I should get off the high horse, trying to educate vanilla people, there's tons of blogs better than mine, and Bonnie already covered every topic imaginable and more than once. I should write what I like the most, spanking fiction set in Izzie-and-Nick verse, and not using the snippets of what I've already written, but to be a good girl and produce new spanking content every single bloody night!!

What was the turning point?

Definitely letter G, G is for Going, Going, Gone which became the first installment of a multichapter spanking story that later I started to call the Alphabet story, and continued all the way to letter Z is for Zingy, . Click on the archive for April. Besides the parts marked as part of Birching Bordello story and a couple of poems, all other posts are in fact the chapters of the Alphabet story. Pinky promise, I will organize all the links in one post!

Why was it so hard?

I felt committed, so committed. No matter what was going on IRL, I had to produce the next post by midnight and schedule it for the early morning. Sometimes I didn't have time to edit, to hone, to polish, to rethink. The last few were especially hard, like X is for Xanadu  or U is for Upsy-Daisy. I’m insanely proud of myself for making it to the end and producing original content every single night, like a clock.

What did I learn?

I learned that I can be trained as a Pavlovian dog to write on demand. Sometimes, especially the last week, I didn't have time to edit, to hone, to polish, to rethink. Honestly, for the first time in my writing life, I would sit in front of the screen or mostly with the phone in my hand, and wouldn't know what I will write about. I knew I had to pick up from the events of last chapter, but didn't know where will the road take me. That was the most exciting part!

Like in the movies, when the author sits in front of a typewriter and types in full sentences, paragraphs of text, a stream of conscience but in the very much plausible form. That's what I did, and the feeling was incredible.

Looking back I can't believe some of the lines I came up with.

What to read?

"You say upsy-daisy when you pick me up," she repeats. "You always pick me up and put me together. Upsy-daisy." (from U is for Upsy-daisy)

"No one will come to rescue you, damsel in distress. Isn't that what you fantasize about?" (from H is for Humiliation)

"Sorry, love. I was debating, which apology would insult you more, for wearing you in or out?" (from N is for Nothing)

"No! Stingy is zingy, thuddy is cruddy." (from Z is for Zingy)

The jitters that keep me reeling
Wanting scream, fight, come, or break
Into million pieces, are peeling
Layers, onion layers of fake

Izzie is still bent over, knees on the couch, naked from the waist down. Her face, turned away from him, lies atop of the couch’s back. She spits out the words in a hurry. But all Nick sees is her pregnant belly, hanging there, presumably safe. And her wobbly knees.
“Do... do you want me to build a pillow fort?” (from C is for Crying and Corner and not the Cane)

Last night Nick didn't follow on any on his empty threats. He didn't give her the six of the best or draw a five-barred gate as he promised. Gasp! That most dreaded stroke across the first five, crossing the lines, that is considered  a cardinal sin by some and the intentional evil-doing by the others. (from M is for Morning and Marks and Middle of the night)

"So today, with the help of my little lie detector," he tugs at the fox tail. "And the cane," he taps her cheeks with the cane, and she jerks away. "I will get to the bottom of it. If required, a bright red bottom with some perfectly parallel stripes. Told you, I've been practicing."  (from L is for Licks and Lust)

"After we are done with all the unpleasantries of your punishment, yes, Isabel, I will forgive you. That's how it works, darling, you've most surely heard of it. You will be back on my lap, rather uncomfortable, I must say, but much happier. Until your next shortcoming, hopefully not as disastrous as the current one." (from P is for Punishment or Birching Bordello part 3)

"It's embarrassing." She dutifully slides her hands off, clutching at the shawl around her neck.
"And you know any spanking that isn't?" (from Y is for Yellow or Birching Bordello part 6)

Enough with the self-indulgent trip down the memory lane!

Please don't forget to comment, I would love to hear back from you, even anonymously.

K is for This is Kink

K is for Kink

I was dying to write a post about this article, since the day I bookmarked it: If I Ever See Another Checklist I Will Scream: An Extremely Thorough Play Checklist

I think it's a must read not only for kink-minded but vanilla alike. I think your perception of what is kink and what is vanilla will change drastically after reading the whole list.

Let me start from a simple example of how deeply wired perceptions are. How does really physical attraction works?

H is a regular heterosexual guy, very near and dear to me, with certain likes and dislikes when it comes to the female beauty and body types. If a woman is too skinny, flat chested, so thin that she has a gap between her legs, he is not only find her unattractive, but even ugly. That includes all those gorgeous tall model-type size two women.  Mind you, that's his honest opinion. At first I thought he says that to please me, as I'm definitely not tall, size two etc. But no, he sincerely doesn't get it, that other people consider these women extremely attractive. He doesn't fine them attractive simply because they are not his "type".

Now, that checklist is massive, skim through it as you first read it. Try to count how many things from the list you did, had done to you, like in general, wouldn't mind doing if it will please your partner. Share that number in the comments, please.

I've been going through this list a few times already, and it amazes me every single time, how many items on the list no one would even consider a kink. In fact, some are not kinks or fetishes at all, like kissing, but all of them have names.

You went to a Halloween party as a Little Red Riding Hood and a Big Bad Wolf, and on the way back home got unexpectedly aroused by your furry partner and want to jump his bones? That's quite a few from the list: animal role play, fur play, clothed male naked female (CMNF, surprisingly not on the list), possible CNC (depending on Wolfie's behavior).

Morning quickie with a sleeping mask still on? Blindfold. Pinning hands above one's head? Light bondage. Biting the toes? Foot fetish. Biting in general? Primal.

What is your number? Did you post it in comments?

My blog is only five months old, and I've been browsing through the kink blogosphere for a few months before I started posting. I read tons of blogs, tons of personal experiences. If I was an observer back then, I was a keen observer.

Let me tell you one thing I learned. Labels don't mean a thing. There is a reason why so many despise labels. No Venn diagram, with the spanking as a cornerstone of it, will ever define all the possibilities. Labels are boxes. People do not fit in them.

Every relationship is different. Exceptions are everywhere. I will start from the most extreme ones and work my way to the mildest.

Masters marry their slaves in romantic ceremonies. Slaves sleep in cages and are used (yes, that's the term) daily, but punishment is extremely rare, and pain is not a goal. Properties are loved and cherished and sometimes served breakfast in bed by their owners. DD/lg (Daddy Dom/little girl) does not necessarily envolve age play. Princesses get spanked too. Though everyone loves plushies and pictures of cute animals. Daily BJs are earned, not asked for. Respect is earned.

Strictest of D/s doesn't necessarily mean the most severe implements, some submissives just do not have the pain tolerance for that. Some use spanking only for punishment, while being a feminist in real life.

Some swear by both D/s 24/7 and DD (Domestic Discipline). While generally speaking, those who practice DD usually despise the connection to D/s as it's a part of BDSM. TTWD (That Thing We Do) is used as an umbrella for other than M/F relationships and spanking in general.

Those who do use spanking as a punishment admit that the reason is a pretend reason (funishment), and it's always serves as a foreplay. Then, there are those who just like the spanking by itself, and are able to separate it from sex completely.

Bratting can be encouraged and can be frowned upon. Spanking parties are good, but dungeons are bad. Positions as hard limits. Cane is evil but a necessary evil. Wood versus leather, thud versus sting. Belt gets extra love. Of course it hurts, it's supposed to hurt, doesn't mean it shouldn't be comfortable. Bring extra pillows.

Black and blue is admonished by some, and admired by others. Bruises and marks freak some out, or worn with pride. All shades of red are more than welcomed.

Now fantasies, that's a creature of its own. Those who do not practice punishment spankings, almost always fantasize about them, sometimes during the spanking.

But everyone is on the same page about the aftercare. Rubbing, hugs, kisses, sex, chocolate, juice, blankets, plushies, arnica, lotions, more rubbing, and favourite movies. Excellent!

Don't forget, Doms are people too. With all the insecurities and doubting themselves. Doms also have drops and need aftercare.

We are all a mess, one big sweet hot mess, whether you call it a kink or not.

This is us.

D is for the Dreaded D position

Have you read my previous post, C is for Crying and Corner and not the Cane ?? If not, head over there. I think C is for Crying is my best flash fiction so far.

When it comes to spanking, D is a loaded letter. Originally I was planning to write this post as "D is for Doms and DD and Dreaded D position" but then I thought, no, I'm not going to tackle all that in one post, it's ridiculous.

I would rather direct you to the experts on the matter. For all things D/s (Dominance and submission) and DD (Domestic Discipline), my go-to site is Amy Submits. She covers extensively vanilla-to-D/s and new-to-D/s. Lots of articles, personal stories, anecdotes, can browse by tags. Amy answers questions in Asks.

Cherished property is another expert on D/s. I just love her writing, well written, both educational and highly personal.

So, now we are down to:

D is for the Dreaded D position

For a full tutorial, head to Bonnie's Top 20 Spanking Positions.

For those of you in the know, obviously D stands for Diaper. A little while ago, Jean Marie (of Butt Stuff, temporarily offline) and I unilaterally decided NOT to call it that but instead use a more appropriate term. So I came up with Legs up!

D position, or Legs up!, resembles very much the one in the picture: flat on her back with legs up,  but usually the face expression is the one of a dread, not surprise.

Why? For a few reasons:

It's considered one of the most humiliating positions, because it's childish and more importantly,

A full eye contact and nowhere to escape from it. Most other positions do not have spanker and spankee facing each other. Staring at the carpet is a part of the lore.

Even more humiliating if the spanker holds the legs up in the air by the ankles.

It's one of the most painful positions, because the skin is stretched super taut and everything is fully exposed, all the bits.

Decidedly the most hated position among all spankees, no poll needed.

But hey, it doesn't mean that Legs up! can't be used for fun for all the same reasons: eye contact, legs held up in the air, lying comfortably on the back.

Sore is More here proudly presents a snippet from its own story Legs up!

Note: Izzie and Nick are in the middle of a roleplay as Muriel the Mermaid and Flynn the Fisherman. Don't forget that Izzie is pregnant, so it's quite a comfortable position for her. I was recently specifically told NOT to Google "pregnant mermaid", apparently it's a thing. Also, I don't usually write in first person, it's so much fun.

“No, no, Muriel. If it’s for me to decide, we’re doing it my way. I want to see your face.” He tips me on my back, wraps one arm around my knees, so conveniently trapped in the tail, and drags me to the edge of the bed. “Legs up! I mean, tail up.”

Glittering tail up in the air, I grin. My bottom, he’s so desperate to get or more like, not to get access to, is still inside the mermaid’s costume with the zipper securely guarded under my back. Quick push to lay me on my side and a tumble with a zipper, he yanks it open down to my knees, like a jar of sardines, folding the fabric back, all my flesh freed up. The tiny bikini in matching colour, only another layer to peel off, Nick is never the one to hesitate.

I’m burning with anticipation, what cool air, a cold shower won’t cool me down. Nick pulls me further over the edge of the bed, so my bum is all out in the open, not dangling, but ready for his assault, as he puts the tail with my ankles in it on his shoulder. No, not Nick, it's Flynn the Fisherman, my hero, my lover, my protector. I shut my eyes and hold my breath. Action!

Psst! Admit it, you did like the manhandling part, didn't you?

Four letters down, 22 to go!

B is for Bonnie and Belt and Blogs and Bratting

Ouch! I just realized that the A to Z challenge is for ALL blogs, not just spanko blogs. So, I might get here visitors that have no idea what is this all about. What do I do, change the style, change the theme?

Noooo! The show must go on. I might provide more links for vanilla visitors.

B is for Bonnie (as in My Bottom Smarts)

Because every journey starts with Bonnie. Bonnie started blogging in 2005 and since then has been a godmother for too many blogs throughout the spanko blogosphere. I discovered Bonnie's blog only a few months before she retired (hopefully temporarily, and she will come back to blogging), and around the Love Our Lurkers day, that's end of November. I registered my blog, wrote a heartfelt letter to Bonnie, the very first post on my blog, and wrote a poem dedicated to her called A Bottom Song, which I'm still very fond of.

If you don't know that yet, Bonnie is an expert on all things spanking. Adult consensual spanking, that is, that's the only kind we talk about here, no matter how harsh it seems at times.

MBS (short for My Bottom Smarts) is linked on virtually every blog throughout the blogosphere, and boy, did I stay in this impossible vast, skillfully crafted, generously shared Body of Knowledge. The tutorials alone, I read at least twice each and most, many times over: the elusive why (my favourite), how to talk to your partner, first spanking, fantasy vs reality, bratting, anticipation, letting go (a gem), implements, rituals, more rituals. When in doubt, read Bonnie's tutorial.

Her site is searchable, so dive in, you will find answers to all your questions.

B is for Belt

Belt plays a prominent part in so many spanking stories and spanking recollections. But I think the best I ever read was on Enzo's Everyday Spankings. It's usually the removing the belt usually gets all the attention, not putting it back. But not in Enzo's story:

removing the belt:

I explain as I undo the metal buckle and pull off my belt in a single tug. The swish of leather dominates the room. I gather the black cowhide in my hands, turn it once upon itself and snap it with a loud crack to emphasize my statement.

and putting it back after the spanking:

The punisher retreats victorious, guided slowly, weaving in and around before I secure it in place behind temporary bars until it is called upon again.

Brilliant, isn't it?

As a mini-challenge I wrote an Ode to Belt without mentioning the word. Here is a small snippet from the poem Thick Brown Leather:

Of all the things that turn me on
The doubled over all-time winner
Thick brown leather, thanks a ton
Turns us into eternal sinners

If you like to browse the tag cloud on the right, you will see that the Belt tag takes a prominent place there, as it takes appearance in almost every one of my spanking stories.

Here is a snippet from A Proper Young Lady Shall Never:

“A proper young lady–” he scoffs and withdraws with a growl.

“Shut up,” she cries out at a sudden loss, sensing some further scolding, and then blushes at her own outburst, and he lets it slide for a quick moment.

“– shall never call the gentleman’s cock a dick”, he finishes in his lilted accent, as he puts his cock securely away, behind the buttoned fly of his low-rise jeans. Deliberately slow, inch by inch, he pulls the belt out through the loops, with the holy sound that makes her squirm and rejoice all at once into a full body shudder. A triumphant grin that stretches her lips morphs into a hesitant frown, when she sees him folding the belt in half. With his eyebrow raised in a silent question and an outstretched hand, he waits for her to rise on her feet and put her hand in his, and that’s the only confirmation he needs.

Taken in hand, the hand that puts her on the right side of the slash, she follows. He leads.

The swift shift in the mood is so palpable; his eyes, kind and playful a few minutes ago, now are flooded with hurt and disappointment.

B is for Blogs

Blogging is a huge part of the spanko community. Whether on Blogger, WordPress, or Tumblr we support each other with blog rolls or lists of blogs we visit. Thank you, my fellow bloggers! I'm so honoured to be included on your lists!

B is for Bratting

Bratting is exactly what it sounds like, behaving like a spoiled brat, but with an important difference. Bratting essentially exists for the sole purpose of asking for a spanking without asking. And while a playful light bratting by a sub/spankee is usually acceptable, even encouraged, the manipulative kind of bratting is frown upon and even worse, it's considered to take away consent from the Dom/spanker.

As always, Bonnie has a whole tutorial on Bratting. My favourite reason not to brat, from her article, is:  "Why would you enrage a man with a paddle?" Really, why?

Yay, two letters down, 24 more to go!

A is for Arse and Anticipation and Aftercare

Can't believe it's April already, which means it's time for A to Z challenge, that I so cheekily promised to participate in. And not only that, to stick with the spanking theme.

So, here we go:

A is for Arse, which a nicer version to say ass, also known as bum, or bottom, or behind, butt, buttocks, buns. Why are there so many words that start with B? There is also rump, rear, tush, seat, booty or bootie (another one that starts with B), keister, tail, cheeks, posterior, fanny. You get the point.

Is there any other part of the body that has so many names? I dare you, try to find a synonym for knee or elbow, even for something bigger, like arm. To think of it, maybe only the other prominent feature of female anatomy or the second part of T&A has many names for it: breasts, boobs, tits, tatas. You know the drill. Still, not as many as so dear to us bottoms.

I like the word arse. It implies something ample, something tangible, something that jiggles on impact, something that bounces when stricken, something that blows your mind. Something that's loud and big, that cannot go unnoticed or be neglected, something majestic. Arse.

A is for Anticipation. Enough said about those butterflies in your stomach whose little wings make you squirm and wiggle and twist and fidget. No fidgeting in the corner!

Alright, a bit of cheating, I will use snippets from my own stories. This one is about Anticipation, from A Tale As Old As Time:

"So the other tale as old as time is, of course, a spanking story about a girl that did something wrong, felt guilty about it, got caught or confessed. In this case, she just said something wrong, many things in fact. Now she's about to get punished for it, that's the most important part of the tale, about her tail getting blistered. After which her bottom will be bright red and thoroughly sore, but it's all good, forgiven and forgotten. They live happily ever after, also known as HEA, until the next time, which is never too far around the corner.

Sounds familiar? Aren't all spanking stories the same? Aren't all spankings the same in general? They all end up with the same hugs and kisses, preferably with a gentle rub of the said sore bottom, preferably while sitting on his lap. Preferably followed by some passionate lovemaking, soft and gentle, fade to black kind, or rough and hard fucking, with the most lurid graphic details of all orifices involved. Or anything in between really, whatever floats your boat. Different strokes for different folks, they say. Aaand, back to strokes.

No siree, no two spankings are the same. Ever. It's not the number of strokes, or the implements used, or the intensity. Like a tennis match, each spanking is different. Nick won't be pleased with such a comparison, still occasionally jealous of her tennis player of an ex-boyfriend from three years ago. No, not poking the bear. Izzie literally bites her tongue at the thought, while she stares at the wallpapered wall. Yes, Nick put her in the corner, with her leggings and panties bunched around her knees, no less, the hem of her t-shirt hiked up to her waist, alabaster white bum on display. Yes, good guess, before the spanking, Nick never did that before."

Aaaand...

What's the best part beside the spanking itself? Well, not all spankings are for fun, you know it better than me. But no one can deny the importance of:

A is for Aftercare

Aftercare can be many things, some as simple as holding close, hugs, kisses, and cuddles. Bonnie wrote a whole tutorial on Aftercare, click here for Aftercare - Bottom Smarts. She has also a tutorial on Anticipation - Bottom Smarts.

Don't forget, that Doms/Tops need aftercare too, especially if they are experiencing a Dom drop. You can search for Dom drop in my stories by clicking on the tag.

Just curious, does any of you use tags to search for stories? I like that cloud on the right. Kind of shows the things I write more about or more obsessed about.

So, here is a bit of a Dom drop snippet for you from another story, Bloody Green

"Nick hums contentedly their own Bottom Song to the tune of some long-forgotten lullaby, while spreading some cream over her reddened cheeks. But the pause between the chorus lines is getting longer, his hand just hovers over her bum now. Nick, only surviving there, a wind-up toy with no juice left, the last splash of energy spent on moving them back in the bedroom to crash onto the bed.

"It's over, Nicky. It's all good. You did so well. I'm so proud of you." She coos as she strokes his hair, caresses his cheek, his soft stubble, traces his eyebrow.

"We are not normal, aren't we? Isn't it I'm who's supposed to praise you?" he sighs with a little glint, a sure indication that he’s coming back to life."

And another one about Dom drop from  A Proper Young Lady Shall Never

"He picks her up with ease and carries over to lay on the bed. He falls next to her, and she pulls him closer, murmuring her thanks again and how much she loves him. Him, the monster. How much she wants him, now and always.

He is drained like he ran a marathon, forehead pressed against her shoulder, her gentle fingers threading through his hair, cooing the words of comfort into his ear. "It's over, it's all good, it's over."

The very last sentence prompted one of the most amazing comments I ever received in my short blogging life, the ones you remember forever. We live and breathe for these moments:

"That is one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever read. I’m here for the raw sexuality, the lust and overpowering passion of our particular kink(s) as much as anyone, but these are the real golden moments. So beautiful!"

And that concludes our first day of challenge. Goodbye, letter A!

Hurt Not Harm

An incredible account of a journey from vanilla to Master from his perspective. There are so many bottoms/submissives journeys and so little from Tops/Doms/Masters.

Found it on Tumblr on Scarlet's Real Magic page (here), she has a fantastic blog. No idea how to re-blog from Tumblr, so just copied here with back link. The picture is mine.

toysmaestro:

heramberheart:

guardianofamber:

The very first time we spent a night together, I playfully swatted your backside during sex. I wasn’t prepared for the reaction, but something in my brain registered it. Your face lit up, your whole body reacted and you closed your eyes in satisfaction. That time, that was all it was, a few tame swats in the middle of sex to get your attention. Something lingered though.

Months later, we began to talk about spanking. I had a hard time getting my head around it. Of course I understood pain and how it can excite, we had a ready begun to dance around that idea. But I struggled with so much of this. Could I hit you, with intent? How would it feel to make your cheeks redden, or still, bruise you? Why did you want this? What would you get from it? What could I get from it? What if I hurt you? How would this come to be? Wouldn’t it feel like role play, to have you over me knee? Etc, etc, etc …

You were incredibly patient and considerate. You explained time after time even though you found it difficult and uncomfortable to express your needs, you gave me space to think, to question, and in turn, to try. You felt my lack of surety, you explained and guided me again and again. Yes, submissives guide their Masters too. This was in our early (ish) days, I wasn’t your Master at that point in truth.

The path to spanking has been slow, and probably for you, tortuous. But I had to be sure of my step each time. I had to understand and be confident. Light slaps became firmer. I began to use spanking as another way to control and focus you when you lost it. Stopping mid-devotion when I could feel you spinning out of control to put you over my knee and centre you.

I began to find a way to use it for me, and for us. I found my way to make it fit into our way. All the time you’d patiently waited for me to get to where you knew I need to be.

The first time you slowly crawled across my knee, you looked at me and smiled. A smile of permission, a smile that asked, pleaded. As I spanked you firmly, purposefully, I felt your body tense then relax. Cries of pain and relief, sobs of acceptance. I watched in satisfaction as your arse reddened, leaving my mark behind on you. My mark of ownership. The dots in my mind began to join up.

This week there was another shift. The spanking was no longer just about you. I needed it. I needed to push you and challenge you. I had you bend over, hands on the bed frame. I hit you far harder and with more confidence and intent than ever before. It hurt, I know it did, it was supposed to. Afterwards you described it as being “on the edge of too much” and I felt such pride, that was exactly where I’d wanted to take you. I calmed you when it got too much, held you when your legs felt weak, and when I knew you could take no more, I stopped. But I wanted you to accept what I wanted to give you, for my own needs. I was so proud of you.

This week, we’ve completed a circle. I spanked you because I wanted to, because I wanted to hurt you and test you, I wanted you to take it for me. You wanted me to spank you because you need the pain and the challenge to centre you, to feel your submission so deeply, you would give me whatever I wanted, because you wanted to show me you will never ever quit, and will give me anything to please me.

Days later you showed me the pinkness of your arse and where once I would’ve wrestled guilt and concern, I felt just one emotion. Pride. I did that. You took that.

I marked you and you are mine.

Pride in each other and your ownership of me.

I love who we are with each other and for each other.

Beautiful steps to freedom for you both.

A to Z

Oh, the picture is of a hot and sour soup I ate yesterday. Yum, deliciously hot and zingy!

Apparently, the April A to Z challenge is coming up. Thank you, Mrs Fever, for bringing up the subject, see her post here.

I've never done it. Hey, my blog is only four months old today! Four months of stressful blogging, hectic search for appropriate yet vanilla pictures, twitchy publish finger, sweaty waiting for hits and, gasp, sweet comments!

The Shakespearean question still stands, to write or not to write? Will it take away time from writing my book? Definitely. Will it be an interesting writing exercise to post every day? Definitely. Will it possibly boost the readership, as I will be in your face every single day? Yeaaah... So, what am I waiting for?

I don't think I will ever run out of ideas of what to write about. Since it's my first year and I run a spanko blog (wow, it sounds so nice to say it out loud), let's make it all about our favourite subject, spanking.

It can be one word per post or a few. Hmmm... Let's try.

A is for Arse and Anticipation and Aftercare

B is for Bonnie and Belt and Blogs and Bratting

C is for Crying and Corner and Close and not the Cane

D is for Doms and DD and Dreaded D position

L is for Lap and Leather and Lotion

P is for Pain and Paddles and Punishment

R is for Roleplay (yay) and Roses (as an implement. BTW, roses story coming up, brace yourselves) and Reminders

Skipping S on purpose today, too many. Note to myself: don't forget Six of the best or else...

T is for Tears and Trust

The end of the alphabet is tougher to tackle, but we'll get there.

V is for Vulnerability and Vetting

W is for Wood and Whip

X for eXtreme (cheater!) and X-ray (how to avoid it) and Xanadu (does subspace qualify as one?)

Y is for Yin and Yang or Yellow

Z is for Zingy and Zappy, which are the opposite of Thuddy (another one for T)

I think that's a good plan, don't you think? Please drop a line in comments. Don't be a jerk, de-lurk. Sorry, it just rhymes well, I love all my lurkers, I've been one too.

Expect a lot of links, as a thank you for all the inspiration and ideas. Without the spanko blogland, I wouldn't be here writing it right now.

Thank you to each and every one of you, who took time to welcome me, support, put on their blog rolls (I've never expected to be on so many!), comment, email, encourage, inspire, laugh and cry with me!

Love you all! You touched my heart in the most unexpected way.

Hugs,
Sore

Hundred - To M and B

Hundred years passed today
But the story lives forever
Only words are gonna stay
Scattered in the world wide ether

"Hundred pounds soaking wet"
Winning smile that lit the room
Feisty, strong, and smart, you bet
Turning Dom into a groom

Hundred hours no need to wait
When you know, they say, you know
Call it love or call it fate
One reins in and one to bow

Hundred bear hugs were given
Scratch that, thousands, that is
Surely up the wall had driven
Him that spunky sass and tease

Hundred blows on bare bottom
How many is too much?
Sting not meant to be forgotten
Followed by gentle touch

Hundred parties lay unravelled
Bottoms sore and also hands
Hundred miles of road less travelled
Peanuts boiled are yikes, no thanks

Hundreds seeds of pomegranate
Six - thirteen to be exact
May your life will be abundant
All these hundred years back

Little facts:
- The poem is set in the year of 2123
- The author is a helpless romantic and believes that love stories live forever
- "Hundred pounds soaking wet" is a direct quote from Erica's post
- I cannot write Dom with lower-case. Sorry if it offends anyone's sense of grammar.
- It's believed that there are 613 seeds in pomegranate, therefore making it a symbol of abundance
- Most important: the poem is solely based on a few teeny tiny facts from Erica's post, the rest is all figments of my own depraved imagination.

Meddling again, in the hope that two wrongs will make it right. When I wrote the first poem, To M and Erica, something irked me endlessly, and I apologized for meddling (thank you, Erica, for the kind words). It took me a while to realize what it was:

It was supposed to be all about M and B, but the first poem came out about M and Erica, which was wrong. I thought I didn't know anything about B, but then again, what do I know about M, really? So, here I am, apologizing my heart out in another poem, because that's what I do... in a hope that one day it would bring a smile on their faces.

The World is My Oyster

I don't know how about you, but I like to check where the visitors to my blog come from, I mean from which countries. Blogger provides you with the total number per country for a chosen period of time and a pie diagram.

When it comes to pies, obviously the biggest, by a mile, chunk is taken by US, how else, followed by the other two coincidentally English-speaking countries, UK and Canada. UK's slice of pie is a tad bigger than the Canadian, which I attribute not to the general kinkiness of UK people, but sheer difference in population. UK has 67 millions, and Canada has only 38 million. Yes, as the population goes, Canada is quite a small country, do with that useless or not piece of information as you will.

Now, there are a couple of anomalies that are quite easy to decipher: one is a tiny country in Southeast Asia that also is a former British colony, and the other one is a small-ish European country where a well known Englishman with certain interests resides. There is also Australia, no wonder there. **Wink-wink, don't be shy, I know that you occasionally read my blog.

But what really surprises me that Germany is making the top five, and I don't know any of my commenters from there. And it's a substantial number of clicks. France and Spain are the other two but with smaller numbers attached to it.

So, please my German, French, and Spanish lurkers, drop a line, even anonymously, and resolve this mystery for me.

On this blog, Love Your Lurkers day is every day!!

PS. Do you like oysters? Surprisingly, if bought in a supermarket in a wooden box, it's quite inexpensive treat, compared to what restaurants charge per piece. All you need is an oyster knife or even a flat screwdriver, to learn how to shuck them, and a sliced lemon. We learned that, you know, when we were spending all our time at home, and I had a craving for oysters.

Careful, don't stab yourself, please! Better hold it with a towel. And, you're welcome.

PPS. By the way, oysters are aphrodisiacs, perfect for Valentine's Day. You're most welcome!

Panic

Panic? It's a perfect time to panic! Not the fight or flight kind, you silly.

One of the readers just posted on a friend's blog (thank you, JM) that he couldn't comment on my blog and he left the loveliest comment, by the way, you can read it here at the very bottom.

Does anyone experience any problem with comments on Blogger? Can you please try to leave a comment, and if you can't, please send me a message, I just added an Ask me form on the right. And it seems that my blogroll is not getting updated properly...

Question: does Blogger have any profanity filters, like blocking comments or posts based on the certain words we like to use?? Because I don't mind using asterisks, I think everyone here can decipher the word c*ck without any problem.

Sigh.

BTW, the post in question was Tanning the tan lines from yesterday.

Dear Bonnie

Dear Bonnie,

what a sad day to de-lurk... what they all said and much more. My journey is quite different. I wish I would discover your blog 15 years ago and not this summer.

Full disclosure, I'm vanilla, although as I learned now, so many little quirks count as kinks. For that matter, what really constitutes a spanking? A smack or two do not count, right? What about three or five? Where to draw the line, or better not to? So, I was writing a novel, quite steamy but vanilla, and one summer day, I wrote a scene that involved a spanking that went horribly wrong (they didn't know about Bonnie's writings), wrote it without any research, purely on emotions. And then, to justify what happened and why, plunged into research. BTW, I was right, I described bratting and topping from the bottom without knowing what it is.

MBS was the second spanko blog I found, right after an extreme CDD one. Thankfully, MBS is linked on virtually every blog throughout the blogosphere, and boy, did I stay in this impossible vast, skillfully crafted, generously shared Body of Knowledge.

I'm still vanilla, leaving vicariously through my characters, following their ebbs and flows, letting them make mistakes, but knowing one thing for sure, I want them to become more like Bonnie and Randy, be themselves, find the way that works for them, because every couple is different, and forget the labels.

There is no sadder day for a lurker and purveyor of fine blogs to find a blog (or forum) written by a brilliant author, smart, intelligent, bold, and sincere, only to discover that the blog is discontinued (not to say dead). A word of advice for those who like me just read, do comment, drop a few words, ask for an advice before it's too late.

Bonnie, I have a parting gift for you, a song/poem called A Bottom Song Since I didn't know how to send it to you, I registered a blog today and posted it there, for Bonnie who redefined the word Bottom.
